Fans of shooting zombies and gratuitous gore rejoice! Tripwire Interactive has announced the long-awaited sequel to their brutal zombie-slaying game, Killing Floor. An exclusive article at PCGamer.com brings us what details there are. Some quick take-aways:
1. The game takes place in Paris, instead of London. I’m not sure if all the maps will be in France or if only some of them will while the rest of the maps are back in England or elsewhere.
2. The game will be MUCH gorier. Plus, how can you not love a “gore system” called Massive Evisceration and Trauma (MEAT)?
3. The game will be much improved, with a vastly re-worked skills system and a different method on scaling difficulty.
4. Skins will still be a big part of the game, as evidenced by an exclusive skin for the game (not even out yet) available in the next published issue of PCGamer. Not sure if it’s worth it to drop almost ten bucks on a magazine I might not get much use out of just for the skin, but I’m sure it’ll be worth it for some people.
