There’s not a whole lot of information about Sunset Overdrive, other than that it’s for the Xbox One. From what I can infer from the trailer (and what little info I’ve seen elsewhere) this is going to be a sandbox-y action game with parkour elements and weapon creation. Judging from what look to be player names over the heads of some of the humans in this trailer, it might even be an MMO of some sort.
Now, from what I’ve read, these are technically “mutants” and not zombies. But, look at the trailer again. It’s in a dead city with only a few surviving humans and a large horde of “mutants” that could only have come from mutating the human population that used to live there. Yeah, they’re zombies.
I also have to say that I like the bright, colorful look of the game. If they can keep that in the actual gameplay it should be a nice visual treat for the eyes, if nothing else.
