Hooooly crap, I feel like a fanboy in paradise and I need to stop geeking out, but this was easily the best 80 seconds of E3 for me. We finally know what Telltale was being so cryptic about, and just as I thought, it’s some new DLC for The Walking Dead.
Called 400 days, it’s a new chapter with five short stories about five new, completely different characters. The central location will apparently be a gas station/restaurant over the period of… well… 400 days. This will, in some way, bridge the gap between seasons one and two of TWD, and best of all, your decisions in season one will affect 400 days, and your decisions in both season one and 400 days will affect season two.
About the only bad news is that it won’t be free. 400 Days will set you back five dollars. But it is “coming soon” which Telltale has clarified as meaning “sometime in July”. It’ll be out on every platform The Walking Dead is on, including the Playstation Vita, which in August will be getting TWD with some Vita exclusive content. If you liked the game, and you should have, then 400 Days is looking to be can’t-miss DLC.
