It’s been a while since we’ve done much of this. That doesn’t mean that there haven’t been worthwhile projects, however. Indeed, I only recently discovered several that didn’t get funded but that I wish had. So, in an effort to reduce that happening, we’re going to try and turn this into a regular, or semi-regular feature. Just keep in mind that just because we post about certain projects that doesn’t mean that they are the only worthwhile ones out there. These are just the ones that tickle our personal fancies. Also, please take care to read the disclaimer at the bottom of the post.

So, without further ado, first off we have Zombie Plague Miniatures. Zombie Plague is a free print-and-play zombie board game that I have not actually had the chance to play. You wouldn’t think it, but sometimes PnP can be more expensive overall than buying a commercial game. Anyway, despite not having played it myself, I have heard good things about it. They’re raising funds to make real miniatures for your game instead of just the paper cutouts. They’ve already reached their goal, but if they look like cool minis to you, then you’ll probably want to get them during the funding stage while they’re (theoretically) cheaper. Plus, if they reach certain stretch goals, then they’ll add more minis.

Next we have Póstumo, which doesn’t have much time left. This is perhaps the best-looking zombie-themed deck of playing cards I’ve ever seen. They also have definitely reached their goal, so if you want in on these beautiful and gory poker cards, hurry up, because time is almost out.

Finally, we have a project from Indiegogo, that other crowdsourcing website. It’s a web series/movie called Zombie Bounty Hunter MD. If the name alone isn’t ridiculous enough to pique your interest then you have to heart. It’s the story of a film crew trying to make it big on YouTube by filming a real life zombie outbreak… Only no one believes it’s real. So they do what any cable news network would do and spice it up with more violence and (maybe?) softcore porn. They’ve got a ways to go, but they’re using flexible funding, so they keep whatever is donated even if they don’t reach their goal.

So, check ’em out, donate if you feel up to it, but also feel free to check out the rest of the sites to see if there are other projects you like.
