Hey, we got a couple of more Zombie-based card game Kickstarter projects for you. However, they only have a few days left, so you better check them out post haste.

The first game we have is the appropriately-titled Badass Zombie Killers, because if you’re stuck in a zombie apocalypse, you might as well be as awesome as possible.  The premise of the game seems to be to get weapons and modify them so they’re as insanely awesome as possible. It makes sense, I mean, if you’re going to kill zombies with a shotgun, why not go all-out and turn it into double-barreled shotgun chucks? Just be careful that someone else doesn’t paint it pink. The basic premise of the rules, getting positive modifiers on your own cards and placing negative modifiers on your opponents’ cards, isn’t revolutionary, but I’ve never seen it applied to killing zombies before, so it looks interesting enough.

The other game is much more ambitious and has even less time before it ends, so hurry up and check it out. Simply titled “Z.” this is a card game for the PC and various mobile platforms that styles itself as “Magic: The Gathering meets Left 4 Dead.” If nothing else, you’ve got to give them credit for confidence. From what I can tell, they’re definitely pulling out all the stops for the production values, with excellent visuals and they’re apparently getting help from and partnering with names that might not be huge, but that I’ve definitely heard of. I wish I’d stumbled across their project sooner, because I’d like to see them funded, to see if they can pull off what they’re promising, if nothing else. Maybe I’m silly thinking this, but if you can manage to put that kind of talent together, you deserve funding to finish your product.
