A mockumentary about the town of Elkton, Maryland and its ever-growing zombie infestation.

Small-town Elkton, Maryland is known as the “Gateway to the Chesapeake Bay.” Less known is Elkton’s zombie problem, exposed and explored in Pat Dougherty’s 2007 film Elkton Undead: A Tale of a Town Divided. The documentary looks at two Elkton residents on opposite sides of the spectrum: Laid-back George Campbell, an Elkton resident who’s happy to co-exist with zombies and just “shoo them away” when they get too close, and self-proclaimed zombie slayer Artemis Zarate, a former pediatrician with a (metaphorical) taste for zombie blood. Compassion or hatred? Which would you choose?
