Abrams Nabs The Walking Dead Book Deal
It was announced today that ABRAMS has signed a deal with AMC and Robert Kirkman’s Skybound that they would be able to publich 2 The Walking Dead books based on the AMC version of the series.
The first of these two books that will be in print is being released this fall right as Season 2 begins and is a guide to the first season in a behind-the-scenes style with a ton of information for The Walking Dead fans and will be entitled The Walking Dead Chronicles that will be released on October 1st for $19.95 and edited by Eric Klopfer. The really neat part is that there are over 200 photoes in the book with new shots from the first season and how it was made that haven’t been publically released until now. It also includes interviews with Kirkman, Darabont, Nicotero, and more of the cast and crew as well as a full episode guide!
The second book has not been given a release date, title, or content though I suspect it may be a Season 2 version with the same concept.
